The pool's opening day will be Tuesday, June 3, 2025! The pool will be open, weather permitting, Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM, and closed Sunday-Monday. We are also excited to announce that the Town of Springfield has once again received a Cooper-Clark Foundation grant to offer Free Swimming Lessons! Session 1 will be Tuesday-Friday, June 3-13, 2025. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our community's infrastructure and enhance safety for all residents. While the construction work is underway, no parking or driving will be permitted on Cedar Street to ensure the safety of both the workers and residents. We anticipate the entire project will take approximately two to three weeks to complete. Items will be accepted free of charge at the Town of Springfield Landfill; however, all customers will still be asked to weigh in and out. As always, only certain items can be received by the landfill.
