Town of Springfield Board of Adjustment Vacancy
The Town of Springfield has one vacancy on the Board of Adjustment, which the Town is required to fill. The vacancy is a three-year term. Individuals wanting to apply for the vacancy must be a resident of the Town of Springfield.
The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board that hears appeals, variances and conditional use requests from the Town’s zoning regulations as specified under the Colorado Revised Statues. Members of the Board of Adjustment are appointed by the Town of Springfield Board of Trustees. There is a total of five members on the Board of Adjustment and public meetings are the last Tuesday of the month when request for a hearing has been made.
If interested in filling this vacant board position, please send a letter of interest stating your qualifications to the Town of Springfield at 748 Main Street by Wednesday June 12, 2024. Please contact Town Hall with questions regarding serving on the Board of Adjustment at (719) 523.4528.

HELLO SUMMER, which means it's time for the Springfield Swimming Pool to open!
The first day the pool will open will be Tuesday June 4, 2024. The pool will be open Tuesday thru Saturday from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. and closed: Sunday and Monday.
We are also excited to announce that we will be having swimming lessons again.
Session 1 will be June 4-14, 2024 and Session 2 will be June 18-28, 2024.

The metal flower pots in the downtown blocks of Main Street are all planted now! Town Manager Tammy Newman and Mayor Gibson want to give a shoutout to Bernie Alvarez, Trustee Matt Self, and Trustee Josh Wittler and his family for helping to make this happen. Keep an eye out for Kathy Self; she'll be planting her planters down the rest of Main Street soon!
