We are pleased to announce that the Town of Springfield will be resurfacing Cedar Street starting today, May 12th 2025. Your cooperation in adhering to the parking restrictions during the construction phases is greatly appreciated, as it will help us complete the work efficiently and effectively. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 719-523-4528. Thank you for your understanding and support during this important project.

🔥 **Attention, Firestarters!** 🔥
Yes, this is a **burning permit**, but let’s be clear—it’s **not** a permission slip for questionable life choices. Just because you *can* burn doesn’t mean you should throw caution (or common sense) to the wind.
Use it **responsibly, carefully, and with extreme caution**—because "Oops" isn’t going to put out a wildfire. 🌲🔥🚒
Stay safe, stay smart, and let’s keep the flames where they belong! 👀 For helpful burning reminders, check out the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook Post on Controlled Burns.
If you have read all of this and still think you need the General Burn Permit, it can be found at this link: https://5il.co/2z44r
