Heads up, Springfield! Starting June 12 through June 22, our water tower at City Park will be undergoing some maintenance. You may see crews hard at work (and maybe high in the sky ), so we’re asking everyone to please keep a safe distance from the area. Give our workers plenty of space to do their thing — after all, no one wants to be under tools if they drop from above! Thanks for your patience and for helping us keep everyone safe!

Town of Springfield is happy to sponsor a Free Swim Day for tomorrow's opening day at the Springfield Swimming Pool! Don't forget that Session 1 of swimming lessons also begin tomorrow! Please keep in mind that the pool can only remain open if the weather cooperates. And lets face it - in Baca County- the weather gets a bit moody and likes to show off with bright lights and big booms occasionally accompanied with rain and hail.

Children 7 and under must be accompanied by someone over age 16. Swimming lessons are offered in two sessions: June 3–13 and June 17–27, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Prices are listed for ages 12 and under and 13 and over. Single swim prices are $2 and $3, respectively. Swim passes and party rates are provided, with party rates starting at $80.
